Minutes after that report came out, Anderson tweeted out his confusion:

But Anderson confirmed the news with a release Monday evening.

This also isn’t the first time veteran NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports has reported Anderson’s intentions. On Friday he tweeted that the Virginia forward was leaning toward the draft. CBS Sports also cited sources confirming Yahoo Sports’ original report Monday.

According to the Yahoo Sports report, Anderson is in the process of scheduling meetings for later this week with agents. An official decision hasn’t been made yet, so he can still return to school if he wants.

Anderson had a succesful junior season, averaging 12.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He missed eight games with a broken finger and emergency appendectomy. If he does return, he’ll join a talented Virginia roster. Sporting News has the Cavaliers ranked No. 1 in the way-too-early Top 25.

If Anderson enters the NBA Draft, he’ll likely be a first-round pick. He has until April 26 to officially file for entry.
